About this project

I remember the night I picked up my first DSLR, it was December 31st, 2009. I’ll never forget how overwhelmed I was. With trial and error my friends and family helped me  fine tune my way through and I  haven’t stopped snapping away since. Over the past two years, I’ve developed a strong passion for photography and I truly believe the art of photography fits my personality; it’s how I express real life, raw emotions. What I enjoy most is to play with ordinary reality, taking photos of unposed people, places and objects which I think gives these pictures a personal yet strangely anonymous and distant perspective.

Very cool concept and execution! Is this for a school project? Or is this your own art? Either way, I think it’s awesome! Also, I like your typeface selection. It’s inspired by and modeled after a lot of Saul Bass’s works. If you don’t know much about him, look him up! He was a film/title sequence pioneer.
Also, do the “victims” only answer 1 specific question? I’d like to see more people answering these really cool questions!
    Keep up the great work!

    • Thanks! This is a project for an Internet class I’m taking, figured I’d incorporate my photography into this project…knock two birds out with one bullet, y’know what I mean? I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile now given that ‘street photography’ is my thing.

I’ve maded it so that the victim only answers one specified question and that the question and answer take up less than 20 seconds.

I’ll read up on Saul Bass after class tonight. Thanks again for your feedback and support throughout my photography goals. Means a lot!

But no, seriously.. I like your project. It’s interesting to see what seemingly random people have to say to your questions. Looks like the layout is coming along too, the color scheme is easy on the eyes.

    Also, think…

Very cool site. Its simple yet very inviting site. It looks great in all aspects. Loved all the questions you asked your “victims” once they were photographed. I’m looking forward to seeing more of these pictures and interviews. They look great and keep up the good work 🙂

Just wanted to say that I’m really liking the color photographs a lot! Are you using some sort of filter or are you applying any effects to them? They look really rich and there’s sort of a certain saturated quality to them that makes them really pop very nicely. They look great!
